muslims can not live peacefully with themselves how can you expect them to live peacefully with rest of the world. It is true most of them are peace loving. But these peace loving educated people should stand up and protest against terrorism more strongly than any body else, 9/11 terrrorist attack was cherished by all muslims around the world-They have been exposed to the world that they have least tolerance for other religion

Religion is a concept by man – it is a bundle of beliefs,rituals,customs,etc. based on the perception of a seer. What actually makes a religion great is it’s underlying spirituality. Islam as I understand it has very little spiritual component to it.
It forgets that the Creator would have the ability to manifest himself in Multitudinous ways and would have a very personal relationship with every human being. So what Mohamed Paigambar saw was his personal God. One can learn from him a few of the aspects of God and go on with your path like Buddha or Ramakrishna Paramhamsa or Swami Vivekanand or Bhagwan Mahavir or Sri Aurobindo or Jesus Christ did.
If education is not going to bring about this point then it is a pity. Muslims are not making the right choices.
They have to reassert the uniqueness in themselves and choose the path which would lead to their heightened consciousness. For this they can take a few things from Islam and discard it because it has no relevance. Islam is not progressive even from the spiritual point of view. It is like sticking on to Newtonian Physics because you like Newton and discarding Einstein’s theory of relativity.
Muslims in India should understand that the Hindu way of life was lead by their ancestors and they should accept it. Otherwise it will be a lost chance of a life. Millions of years have passed and this one moment of 60 years of life is available to make a decision into consciousness.
Its time they educate themselves and realize the mistake and revert back to being Hindus – it would open up greater possibilities albeit the problems perceived within.
It must be noted that Hinduism’s spirituality is a world heritage, it is the finest – but to get to the point of understanding it:is an arduous task. I wonder of any Muslim is ready for such an uphill journey and instead take the path of least resistance – Islam and its accompanying violence.

Islam is like hiv virus. It is spreading throughout the world ( number of islamic followesr).Before it engulfs everybody , we need to find a solution to eradicate it.Schezophreniacs like mohamed can start a religion 1400 yrs back and quoran can be used as a terrorist manual , then who should save us from these 1 billion plus islamic vultures? They dont have any intellectuals. They have onlyslauhteres.

I agree Islam is a terror cult. Luckily, the world is now slowly opening its eyes to the horrors of Islam and is waking up to realise that the words “moderate” and “Islam” do not go together. That their neighbour who seems like a peaceful muslim is very likely sympathising with terrorists’ heineous killings, in India and around the world. There is no history of Islam having co-existed in peace with other religions as a minority. It is a cult that belonged to looters, rapists and greedy and lusty gangs of men, all led by a psychopath who claimed to be their prophet. No Islamic country has ever progressed on its own merit, has ever produced cars, computers, engineers or scientists. It is the very nature of Islam to be backward and thrive on ignorance. The greatest victims of this violent cult are Muslims themselves.

My only fault is that I am born in HINDU(kashmiri pandits family) this I was asked by Kashmiri Muslims to leave my home place because I don’t say Allo ho Akbar …..
My eyes are opened now and I understand that it is a problem with ISLAM.

Junaid Afeef , can you justify why I have to leave my place because I am mot a follower of Islam.

Sundaresha clearly has no knowledge of Islam. In fact, Sundaresha is an anti-Muslim bigot (Islamophobe).

Islam is in fact a religion of peace. It brings peace and comfort to many of the 1.2 billion adherents worldwide. By and large Muslims co-exist (now and in the past) in peace with others.

Unlike the Hindutva disciples, I will not attempt to ignore the problem with fanatics who cherry-pick verse from the Quran (much like the author of the foregoing post and Sundaresha) for their nefarious purposes. Yes, it does happen and it does have catastrophic results.

There is a methodology for understanding the rules and commandments from the Quran. Simply opening up a translation and randomly picking out verses (without the benefit of textual and historical context) leads to false conclusions. You obviously don’t understand this fact.

Honestly, I don’t understand where your hate comes from. In the U.S. we have Muslims and Hindus living and working together. In speaking with people of Indian origin and non-resident Indians in the U.S. I’ve learned that Muslims and Hindus and Sikhs have generally had a good relationship and that its been the fascist Hindutva folks (RSS, BJP, Shiv Sena and so forth) who foment hatred and violence.

I saw a documentary about the “disappearances” of Muslims in India at the hands of state authorities. I saw interviews with Hindu spiritual leaders who cavalierly stated that it was okay to extrajudicially disappear citizens, kill them and then concoct stories to cover it up – he said that otherwise the moral of the state authorities would be brought down. What hubris!

I guess you don’t see it but your hate and the hate of Bin Laden are kindred souls. Together you represent the ugly part of human society.

The good news is that Muslims and people of other faiths, will by and large, reject your hate.

It is not a given – that’s why we organize and work actively for peace and justice. Hate will not defeat love, justice and peace gentlemen.

You’re on the wrong side of the struggle.
