The Savage History Of Jihad and Islamic Terrorism In India

Posted by jagoindia on May 9, 2010

At the Battle of Chamkaur Sahib, 40 Sikhs fought the army of the Emperor Aurangzeb said to number about 100,000 soldiers. Aurangzeb was a notorious fanatic who carried on a lifelong policy of forced conversions. The picture shows Sahibzadah Ajit Singh, aged 17 years, engaging the enemy. In this battle, Sahibzadah Fateh Singh aged 14 also laid down his life in battle. This battle ranks as the absolute apex of Sikh heroism.

Muhammad: The Successful Hitler

Posted by jagoindia on April 26, 2010

Hitler killed too many people too fast, and so was defeated and destroyed in 12 years. Like the Nazis, Muhammad and his successors embarked on a program of dehumanization and genocide, but they pursued it gradually and intermittently instead of all at once, and so the movement they created is still going strong after 1400 years.

The whole religion is the projection of the personality of that one man, of his will to power, his sense that he was God’s Prophet, and that everyone must yield to him or die. That man created a nation of one billion clones of himself. That’s what we’re facing. That’s why I say that the key to understanding Muhammad is that he was a successful Hitler.

A German’s View on Islam: Why the Peaceful Majority Muslims are Irrelevant

Posted by jagoindia on February 18, 2010

German’s View on Islam: It’s the Fanatics, Who Rule

I used to know a man whose family were German aristocracy prior to World War Two. They owned a number of large industries and estates. I asked him how many German people were true Nazis, and the answer he gave has stuck with me and guided my attitude toward fanaticism ever since.

“Very few people were true Nazis,” he said, “but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, we had lost control and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.”

We are told again and again by “experts” and “talking heads” that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam. The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor killers. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard quantifiable fact is that the “peaceful majority”, the “silent majority”, is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China ‘s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet. And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery? Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were “peace loving”?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because, like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.

As for us who watch it all unfold; we must pay attention to the only group that counts; the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

The near-total denial of religious freedom for non-Muslims in most Muslim countries

Posted by jagoindia on February 17, 2010

The article written by Sudheendra Kulkarni can accessed at Intolerance is a two-way street

Excerpts :

“Saudi Arabia prohibits the
construction of any non-Muslim place of worship on its soil. A
non-Muslim cannot even enter Mecca and Medina. Most Gulf countries
disallow building of churches and synagogues. Hindu temples, of course,
are a no-no. A friend who worked in Saudi Arabia once told me that he
was not allowed to carry even pictures of Hindu deities to be used for
worship at home.

“The immigration staff at the airport found the
pictures in my bag and simply threw them aside.” Non-Muslim employees
cannot celebrate their festivals in public. This, in spite of the fact
that millions of non-Muslim immigrants have been working in these
countries for many years, contributing immensely to their economic
prosperity and social wellbeing.

In the debate on the Swiss ban, here is a European blogger’s comment on
the Net: “Muslims are allowed to do dawa, build/repair mosques, and
openly practice their faith in the West. Yet, in the Islamic world,
these activities for Christians are severely restricted if not outright
prohibited. Muslims can convert us, but the other way around is viewed
as a provocation. Only one demographic group in Europe has created
literally hundreds of no-go areas. You don’t hear about Hindus,
Buddhists, or any other faith group creating these kinds of areas. I
want to see the gap bridged between the two civilisations, but it takes
two to dance.”

There are also other asymmetries. The US, Canada and almost all European
countries accept Muslim immigrants from around the world and even grant
them citizenship. This accounts for the rapid rise in the Muslim
population in the West. On the contrary, very few Muslim countries grant
citizenship to non-Muslim immigrants if they refuse to embrace Islam.
Indeed, even the population of native religious minorities in the
Islamic world is shrinking each year, largely due to official and
unofficial persecution.

In Sadanand Dhume’s extremely readable debut
book My Friend The Fanatic, which describes the steady Arabisation of
Indonesia, he says this about neighbouring Malaysia, another Muslim
majority country: “A Yemeni or a Pakistani might show up today and his
children would be considered sons of the soil and given preferences in
everything from college admissions to business contracts. The children
of a Buddhist or Christian Chinese or of a Hindu Tamil who had lived
there a hundred years remained foreign.”

Yes, the Swiss move on minarets is unjustified. Yet, many liberals who
oppose the ban are alarmed by the illiberal voices that have emanated
from the Muslim world. They especially refer to the words of Recep
Tayyip Erdogan, the Prime Minister of Turkey who heads an Islamist party
in a country that is still secular: “The minarets are our bayonets, the
domes our helmets, the mosques our barracks and the faithful our army.”

Clearly, Muslims around the world need to do some self-reflection on
inter-religious relations in our globalised world. If secularism,
pluralism and tolerance are necessary in Muslim-minority countries, they
are equally necessary in Muslim-majority countries. Double standards won’t
do.

Origin of fake currency in India: Islamic economic terrorism by Pakistan

Fake currency and its linkage with crime
Origin of fake currency and its use
By Joginder Singh, IPS (Retd)

It is estimated that around 1,69,000 crores of fake rupees are in circulation all over India. Both Banks and Government are in a denial mode, because probably they do not know what to do.

India has become the victim of an other kind of terrorism from its neighbour, Pakistan. It is economic terrorism in printing and circulating counterfeit Indian notes. The Pakistani intelligence agency, ISI’s role in printing and circulation of fake Indian currency notes has never been a secret.

On its insistence, Pakistan Government has imported additional currency-standard printing paper from companies located in London to pursue its nefarious designs in India. Of late, Pakistan has been procuring currency-standard printing paper in huge quantities from London-based companies much higher than normal requirement of the country for printing its own currency. It is diverting it, to print fake Indian currency notes. It is believed that Pakistan Government printing press in Quetta (Baluchistan) Karachi’s security press, and two other presses in Lahore and Peshawar, are being used to print out counterfeit Indian currency.

The ISI has, been using Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to transport counterfeit currency to its conduits in Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The modus operandi of the ISI was revealed by two Nepali counterfeit currency traffickers who were arrested by Thailand police sometimes back. During interrogation, the accused disclosed that they were working for a prominent Nepali businessman. The fact that Nepali territory is being used by Pakistanis to smuggle counterfeit currency is well known. The first such expose was made when Pakistani diplomats were caught distributing fake Indian currency notes. One Naushad Alam Khan, arrested in Dhaka on April 24, 2008, with fake Indian currency notes worth Rs 50 lakh admitted his direct link with HuJI (Bangladesh) chief Mufti Abdul Hannan. It was found that both Khan and Hannan had fought for Taliban in Afghanistan.

Fake Indian currency notes racket is being carried out by using the network of underworld kingpin Dawood Ibrahim, not only in India but also in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal in close association with different terror outfits, according to one intelligence report. With Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh being active partners, with India in probing fake Indian currency notes (FICN) related cases, it is safe to assume that so far as the fake currency in India is concerned, its source is Pakistan.

Delhi police claims, to have busted a major ISI network, sometimes back, which was reportedly being used to pushing fake currency into our country. Three arrested men, by name, Nayeem, Wasim and Mohammed Muslim, have revealed that Thar Express, so called, friendship train, running between Munnabao in Pakistan and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, was being used to smuggle fake currency into India . Investigation, uncovered, that the fake currency was arranged in Dubai. Fake currency to the extent of Rs 33 lakh was seized from them. They have confirmed that the Indian currency is printed in Pakistan and illegally pushed in India through Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand.

The menace of finely printed currency has achieved new heights, that quite often, the customers do get fake currencies through ATMs. The worst is that when they approach banks with the complain of receiving a fake note, bank official impound the notes. As per the law of land, the bank should lodge an FIR with police, which would investigate the source of the fake currency. Banks obviously have not been to cope with the problem.

According to one Government committee estimate, counterfeit currency amounting to Rs 169,000 crore is floating around in the Indian financial system. This has been denied by the Reserve Bank of India. From real estate transactions to ordinary grocery shopping, paying to sources and terrorist’s expenses, these bogus notes are being used. Even if this figure is taken 20 to 25 per cent, as correct, it is still a huge amount, and sufficient to damage India’s economy. “In 2008, the CBI registered 13 cases having international/ inter-State ramifications relating to the recovery/ seizure of fake Indian currency notes,”

According to the National Crime Record Bureau (NCRB), between January and August 2008, 1,170 cases had been registered across the country in connection with fake currency. Bogus notes with a face value of Rs 3.63 crore had been seized. NCRB data shows 2,204 such cases were reported in 2007.

Investigations into the Mumbai 26/11 attacks have revealed that a large part of the money to fund the terror operation were obtained through fake currency rackets and hawala channels.

It is also believed that Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence raises Rs 1,800 crore (Rs 18 billion) annually to fund terror operations and that a major chunk of this amount comes in through fake currency rackets.

Intelligence sources believe that Rs 30 lakh of the Rs 50 lakh spent, on the attack on the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, in December 2005 was obtained through the fake currency racket. This is big menace, which should be tackled with no holds barred, even if it means walking with the devil till we have decimated this problem.

Fake currency and its linkage with crime

It is rightly said, that the poor of the world, cannot be made richer by redistribution of wealth. But, there are some, who seek a short cut, to riches through crime and use of counterfeit currency. Criminals believe, that whatever is worth doing is worth doing for the money. Nevertheless, the truth is that the wealth is the product of industry, ambition, character and untiring effort. The Special Task Force, (STF) of Uttar Pradesh, last year claimed to have busted a major international racket involved, in supply of fake currency notes.

It seized counterfeit Indian currency worth a face value of Rs 16 lakh. The gang leader, arrested in Lucknow with three of his aides, has confessed to have pumped into circulation over Rs 2 crore in counterfeit currency in India in about two months. The gang members arrested have been identified as Suhail Singh alias Ram Shanker Singh of Sikahira locality under Khodare police station of Gonda-the gang leader-along with Sharma Paswan, Vinod Kumar Misra and Sanjay Kumar Patel, all natives of Champaran in Bihar.

The gang was using a set of six women couriers from Champaran in Bihar and another set of four hailing from Nepal. The fake currency notes had a different serial number. It showed, that they had not merely been printed from a scanned image of a genuine note by using coloured scanners and printers. In case the miscreants scan a genuine note and print copies of it, the serial number of such counterfeit currency notes remain the same. Putting a different serial number on each note explains that the counterfeit currency was being printed at a very large scale.

During interrogation, the accused revealed that the counterfeit currency notes travelled to Uttar Pradesh from Nepal from two different routes: From Nepal to UP via Bihar and directly to UP particularly through Sidhartnagar and Maharajganj route. A Rs 1,000 denomination note was bought at the rate of Rs 500 to Rs 600 each while the Rs 500 denomination was bought for Rs 300 to Rs 400 each.

According to the accused, counterfeit currency notes of smaller denomination-like those of Rs 100 and Rs 50, were also available, but at a higher cost, as compared to the bigger denominations. The reason given was that putting the bigger notes into circulation was more risky. The gang used private vehicles to cross the Nepal borders while the rest of the movement was done preferably on public transport. To minimise suspicion, women couriers, particularly those with young children, were preferred to carry the counterfeit currency notes within India and were paid two per cent of the total face value of the counterfeit notes. A male shadow was also used to trail the couriers to ensure that they were not trapped by the police.

It is estimated that around 1,69,000 crores of fake rupees are in circulation all over India. Both Banks and Government are in a denial mode, because probably they do not know what to do.

Justice Jan: Media guilty of spreading falsehood, inciting violence and Hindus for the Shopian rape-murder

Media misrepresented key facts on Shopian rape-murder

NEW DELHI: Ever since May, when the bodies of two women washed up near Shopian, journalists have chronicled the multiple failures of administration and policing that allowed the tragic deaths to spark off some of the worst street violence ever seen in Jammu and Kashmir.
Following the release of the findings of the Justice Muzaffar Jan Commission of Enquiry on Friday, the Jammu and Kashmir government has announced that it intends to prosecute four police officials for some of those failures.
But both journalists and the Jammu and Kashmir government have maintained a stoic silence on one institution blamed by Justice Jan for spreading falsehood and inciting violence: the media itself.
Stories fabricated?
Justice Jan’s report highlights disturbing evidence that some journalists may have fabricated elements of their stories.
Early in June, several Srinagar-based journalists reported that one victim’s husband had received a call from her at 7 p.m. on May 29. During the call, the accounts said, the victim reported that she was being chased by CRPF personnel.
In their testimony to the Jan Commission, though, the victim’s husband and her brother made it clear that she had never owned a mobile phone, a fact first reported in this newspaper. Jammu and Kashmir police investigators attached to the Commission studied 32,686 cellphone calls made in Shopian on May 29, and were able to establish that none was made to or from any phone that may have been in the victim’s possession.
Efforts were also made by sections of the media to suggest that the local police may have sought to hush up the case on the orders of their superior. Journalists in particular turned on Constable Mohammad Yaseen, who was reported to have made several phone calls to superiors even as a search for the victims’ bodies was underway — evidence, it was argued, of the unusual interest of his bosses in the case.
In fact, the Commission found, Mr. Yaseen had made only four calls during the whole day and none between 10 p.m. on June 29, when the search for the victims began, until 6 a.m. on June 30, when the bodies were found.
Local resident Jamal-ud-Din Wani, claimed by the media to be an eyewitness to the killings, was alleged to have been abducted after the bodies were found. The Jan Commission found him living in a tent at the hamlet of Dehgam, close to Shopian, where he works as a watchman at a local seminary.
For the most part, Justice Jan found, the media misrepresented forensic evidence. Media accounts insisted that both women appeared to have been badly beaten and gang raped. However, the Jan Commission states, pathologists found no evidence to support the proposition of gang rape. Moreover, only one victim’s body was found to bear visible external injuries. Claims that one victim was pregnant at the time of her death, Justice Jan states, were also wrong.
Perhaps in order to buttress claims that the two women had been raped before they were killed, some journalists asserted that their clothes were torn. However, witnesses interviewed by the Jan Commission said that the women’s Feran and shalwar were intact.
Most disturbing, though, is Justice Jan’s finding that the media incited hatred by broadcasting communal propaganda.
Based on the accounts of individuals claiming to be eyewitnesses, newspapers said that one victim’s forehead had been smeared with sindoor — an allegation that suggested that the rapists were Hindus, and the rape itself macabre religion-driven hate crime. However, the Commission noted, the red marks on her forehead were in fact blood from a head wound. “The flow of blood,” the report states, “was shamefully distorted and projected as a mark of sindoor.”
Noting that this kind of reporting has fuelled violence in Jammu and Kashmir, Justice Jan has suggested that “firm guidelines are made to ensure that, before publication of any news, the authenticity of the news be verified.”

Mumbai massacre revisited By Irfan Husain

Terror in MumbaiProduced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Dan Reed  Link

Mumbai massacre revisited

By Irfan Husain, 04 Jul, 2009
www.dawn.com

ALL too often, natural disasters and human atrocities make only a
fleeting impression. We watch fascinated and horrified as TV anchors
give us their impressions while images of death and disaster roll
across our screens.

But soon, one particular crisis is overtaken by another, and
relentlessly, the news cycle moves on.

It is not until one sees and hears the survivors that the magnitude of
a disaster really sinks in. This is what I experienced while watching
Channel 4’s programme on its Dispatches series. Called Terror in
Mumbai, the documentary
retraces the steps of the terrorists as they
first landed in Mumbai by boat, and then made their way across the
city, spreading mayhem over a period of 60 hours.

We were shown clips from CCTV cameras that had captured the killing
spree. Casually the killers shot everybody who moved. At the VT
railway station, where 52 people died, they massacred a family, and a
young boy who survived later recounted who had died: ‘My father. My
mother. My aunt. My uncle. Their two sons. What had we done to them?
So many dead. What had they done to the terrorists?’ What indeed?

When I wrote a couple of columns after the atrocity last year,
expressing sympathy for the victims and condemning the killers and
those behind them in Pakistan, I got a flood of angry emails,
demanding to know the proof that linked the terrorists to Pakistan.
Our government was in similar denial. And although it has grudgingly
accepted that the controllers and planners of the attack were based in
Pakistan, and has even arrested some members of the Laskhar-i-Taiba
that has morphed into the Jamaatud Dawa, very little progress has been
made on punishing those responsible.

The most chilling part of the documentary was the constant voice
contact between the terrorists and their handlers. Talking on cell
phones, the controllers urged on their pawns in Punjabi and Urdu,
interspersed with the odd English words and phrases. They certainly
did not sound like graduates of a madressah. Rather, they were
professionals doing a job, instructing the young terrorists to kill as
many people as possible; urging them to move from one target to
another; and repeating that they must not allow themselves to be
captured.

Soon after his arrest, Ajmal Kasab was questioned by the police, and
admitted that he had been sent by the Lashkar-i-Taiba. Asked why and
how he had joined the group, he said his father had ‘sold’ him to the
Lashkar. He said his father had explained that the money would lift
the family out of poverty, and pay for his sisters’ weddings. How many
more young men are being sold to terror outfits across Pakistan?

One Turkish couple, spared because of their faith, recount how the
bodies of massacred guests at the Trident Oberoi piled up around them,
and how slippery it was to walk over the pools of blood. A neighbour
of the rabbi and his wife who were murdered at the Jewish Centre
describe how one by one, the couple said ‘shoot me’ to the killers,
and were duly shot. After the terrorists had left, the two-year old
son of the murdered couple is filmed in a heart-breaking sequence,
walking around in the room, clearly confused.

After Kasab had been captured, the controllers realised what would
happen if he spilled the beans. They ask two of the killers to take a
hostage and get her to call the authorities with a demand to free
Kasab in exchange for her life. After an hour or so, when there is no
response from the government, they are told to finish off the hostage.

All through the atrocity, the handlers — obviously watching the drama
on TV — keep urging their foot soldiers on, encouraging them by
descriptions of what they are seeing on TV. ‘The whole world is
watching your deeds…. Remember this is a fight between the believers
and the non-believers…. If you speak to the authorities, tell them
this is only the trailer and the real film is yet to come.…’

And when the terrorists are clearly exhausted, the controllers urge
them on: ‘Throw some grenades, my brother, there’s no harm in throwing
a few grenades. How hard can it be to throw a grenade? Just pull the
pin and throw it. For your mission to end successfully, you must be
killed. God is waiting for you in heaven.’ After each such
exhortation, the young terrorist at the receiving end says,
‘Inshallah’. At the start of the programme, the handler asks the
landing party if they have eliminated the captain of the hijacked
boat, and if so, how? ‘Zibah kar diya,’ is the chilling response.
(Literally: ‘We have slit his throat’; but there is a ritualistic
connotation to ‘zibah’ that does not translate well into English.)

This repeated use of Islamic phrases and responses underlines the
extent to which the faith has been cynically used to spread violence.
While Muslims argue that Islam does not condone this kind of terrorism
against unarmed, innocent civilians, most do not condemn it in clear,
unequivocal terms. After agreeing that such acts are un-Islamic, there
is all too often a lingering ‘Yes, but…’ hanging in the air.

It is this ambiguity that has given terror groups in Pakistan and
elsewhere the space and legitimacy they need to operate. Now that
Pakistanis have seen the true face of terrorism in Swat, and have
begun to support the government in its drive to rid us of this cancer,
the lesson needs to be reinforced. One way would be to dub the Channel
4 documentary and show it extensively on various TV channels in
Pakistan. We need to hear ordinary people who survived or lost close
relatives, and see their pain.

We need to see the horrors inflicted in the name of Islam. Above all,
we need to share the agony of our neighbours.

Why we should not listen to peaceful moderate Muslims – must read

Posted by jagoindia on June 25, 2009

Why the Peaceful Majority is Irrelevant

by Paul E. Marek

History lessons are often incredibly simple.

I used to know a man whose family were German aristocracy prior to World War II.

Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.”

We are told again and again by experts and talking heads that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unquantified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.

The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars world wide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behea

d, murder, or execute honor killings. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard, quantifiable fact is that the “peaceful majority” is the “silent majority,” and it is cowed and extraneous.

Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China’s huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people. The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a war-mongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across Southeast Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians – most killed by sword, shovel and bayonet. And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery? Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were “peace loving”?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt; yet, for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points. Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by the fanatics. Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don’t speak up, because, like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Bosnians, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians and many others, have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late. As for us, watching it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts: the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Why the Peaceful Majority is Irrelevant
by Paul E. Marek
History lessons are often incredibly simple.
I used to know a man whose family were German aristocracy prior to World War II.

An Open Letter to President Obama On Your Wrong Assumptions About Islam

Posted by jagoindia on June 14, 2009

An Open Letter to President Obama
by Brigitte Gabriel
11 Jun 2009

Dear Mr. President,

You face difficult challenges in matters such as achieving peace in the
Middle East and protecting America from the threat of radical Islam and
terrorism. These are challenges that have vexed past presidents, going
as far back as our second president, John Adams. I have no doubt you
appreciate both the gravity of these challenges and the enormous
obstacles that exist to solving them.

I also have no doubt that you and your staff understood that, no matter
what you said in your speech last Thursday in Cairo, there would be
those who would take issue with you. That is always the case when
attempting to solve problems that are as deep and emotionally-laden as
these challenges are.

I am assuming it is your sincere hope that the approach you have chosen
to take, as evidenced by what I’m sure was a carefully crafted speech,
will ultimately prove successful. However, it pains me to say this sir,
but, while you said in your speech that you are a “student of history,”
it is abundantly clear that, in these matters, you do not know history
and thus, as Santayana noted, you are doomed to repeat it. In doing so
your efforts, however well-intentioned they may be, will not produce
what you profess to hope they will produce.

A wise man once said that if you start with the wrong assumptions, no
matter how logical your reasoning is, you will end up with the wrong
conclusion. With all due respect Mr. President, you are starting with
certain assumptions that are unsupported by history and an objective
study of the ideology of political Islam.

You began in your speech by asserting that “tensions” exist between the
United States and Muslims around the world, which, of course, is
correct. Unfortunately, you then proceeded, incorrectly, to lay
virtually all the blame for these tensions at the feet of America and
the West. You blamed western colonialism, the Cold War, and even
modernity and globalism.

A student of American history, who is not trying to reconstruct it to
fit a modern politically correct narrative, would state that tensions
between America and Muslims began with the unprovoked, four-decades long
assault by the Muslim Barbary pirates against American shipping in the
late 18th and early 19th centuries. I find it telling that you mentioned
the Treaty of Tripoli in your speech but ignored the circumstances that
led to it. That treaty was but one of numerous attempts by the United
States to achieve peace with the jihadists of the Barbary Coast who were
attacking our shipping and killing and enslaving our citizens and our
soldiers – and who by their own admission were doing so to fulfill the
call to jihad.

These jihadists were not acting to protest American foreign policy,
which was decidedly isolationist, and there was no state of Israel to
scapegoat. They were doing what countless Islamic jihadists have done
throughout history – acting upon the hundreds of passages in the Qur’an
and the Hadith that call upon faithful Muslims to kill, conquer or
subjugate the infidel.

A student of world history would know that, for all the acknowledged
evils of Western colonialism, these evils pale in comparison to the
nearly 14 centuries of Islamic colonialism that began in Arabia under
the leadership of Mohammed. The student of history would know that
Islamic forces eradicated all Jewish and Christian presence from Arabia
after Mohammed’s death, and then succeeded in conquering all of North
Africa, most of the Middle East, much of Asia Minor, and significant
portions of Europe and India – eventually creating an empire larger than
Rome’s was at its peak.

The number of dead and enslaved during these many centuries of Islamic
imperial conquest and colonialism have been estimated to total more than
300 million. What’s more, the wealth of many of the conquered nations
and cultures was plundered by the Islamic conquerors, and millions of
millions of non-Muslims who did survive were forced to pay onerous
taxes, such as the “jizya,” a humiliation tax to the Islamic caliphs.
Indeed, in some areas Christians and Jews were made to wear a receipt
for the jizya around their neck as a mark of their dishonor.

These facts have not been invented by Christian or Jewish historical
revisionists, but were chronicled by Muslim eyewitnesses throughout the
past 14 centuries and are available to be researched by any person
seeking an objective understanding of how Islam spread throughout the
world.

You say in your speech that we must squarely face the tensions that
exist between America and the Muslim world. That is a laudable notion
with which I agree, but by casting Islam as the historical victim and
the West (and by implication, America) as the aggressor, you do not face
these tensions squarely, but alleviate the Muslim world from coming to
grips with the jihadist ideology embedded in its holy books and acted
upon for 1,400 years.

Even worse, you empower and embolden militant Islamists who regard your
gestures as signs of weakness and capitulation.

The issue is not that all Muslims are terrorists or radicals or
extremists. We all know that the majority of Muslims are not. We also
know that many peace-loving Muslims are victims of Islamist violence.

The issue is this: what drives hundreds of millions of Muslims worldwide
to call for the death of Jews?

What drives millions of Muslims to riot, destroy property, and take
innocent lives in reaction to the Danish cartoons?

What drives tens of thousands of Muslims to demand the execution of a
British teacher whose only “crime” was allowing her students to name
their teddy bears “Mohammed”?

What drives countless Muslims worldwide to actively participate in, or
fund, or provide nurture to, terrorist organizations?

What drives Muslims in mosques in America to proclaim and distribute
materials that call for hatred of and the destruction of infidels?

What drives entire Islamic countries to prohibit the building of a
Christian church or synagogue?

To assume, as you apparently do, that what drives these actions is not
an ideology embedded in the holy books of Islam, but rather other “root
causes,” most of which you lay at the feet of America and the West, is
at best naïve and at worst dangerous.

Lastly, I must address your statement that “Islam has a proud tradition
of tolerance.” Unfortunately, the examples you gave are the exception
rather than the rule.

Historically speaking, I seriously doubt the Egyptian Copts, the
Lebanese Maronites, the Christians in Bethlehem, the Assyrians, the
Hindus, the Jews, and many others who have been persecuted by Islamic
violence and supremacism, would agree with your assertion.

For instance, Christians and Jews became “Dhimmis,” a second class group
under Islam. Dhimmis were forced to wear distinctive clothing; it was
Baghdad’s Caliph Al-Mutawakkil, in the ninth century, who designated a
yellow badge for Jews under Islam, which Hitler copied and duplicated in
Nazi Germany nearly a thousand years later.

I witnessed first-hand the “tolerance” of Islam when Islamists ravaged
my country of birth, Lebanon, in the 1970’s, leaving widespread death
and destruction in their wake. I saw how they re-paid the tolerance that
Lebanese Christians extended toward them. My experience is not an
isolated one. When you make an unfounded assertion about the “proud
tradition” of tolerance in Islam, you do a great disservice to the
hundreds of millions of non-Muslims who have been killed, maimed,
enslaved, conquered, subjugated or displaced – in the cause of Islamic
jihad.

Mr. President, those of us like me who are ringing the alarm in America
about the threat of radical Islam would like nothing better than to
peacefully co-exist with the Muslim world. Most Americans would like
nothing better than to peacefully co-exist with the Muslim world. The
obstacle to achieving this does not lie with us in America and the West.
It lies with the hundreds of millions of Muslims worldwide, including
many of their spiritual leaders, who take seriously the repeated calls
to jihad in the Qur’an and the Hadith. Who regard “infidels” as inferior
and worthy of conquering, subjugating and forcibly converting. Who
support “cultural jihad” as a means to subvert non-Muslim societies from
within. Who take seriously the admonitions throughout the Qur’an and the
Hadith to convert the world to Islam – by force if necessary – and bring
it under the rule of Allah.

Unless you are willing to courageously and honestly accept this, your
aspirations for worldwide comity and peace in the Middle East are doomed
to fail.

Sincerely,
Brigitte Gabriel

Dr Zakir Naik – Anatomy of a pig – must read

Posted by jagoindia on April 24, 2009

Dr. Zakir Naik – Anatomy of a pig
Sanjay Khanna, http://www.faithfreedom.org

Self proclaimed Islamic scholar and student of comparative religions Dr. Zakir Naik is a familiar name to Muslims and non Muslims alike, albeit for different reasons. While Muslims marvel at his “knowledge” and “wisdom”, others make good use of him for laughter therapy. Below are some of the grandiose statements made by this so called “scholar” and my unbiased attempt to dissect them. I do not know much about the Koran except for what I have read on this site and for this reason I chose to stick with the socio economic ideas of this man in an attempt to read his mind.

Dr. Naik – If two sisters were walking on the street, one in hijab and the other wearing a mini skirt, men would invariably eve tease the one wearing the skirt. So hijab protects the Muslim women from men and rape.

Reply – Don’t all countries have laws that protect women? It’s a different matter that laws in Islamic countries are heavily biased against women to the extent that they require more than one witness ( four in some countries) to prove a case against a man.. In the civilized world of non Muslims, you cannot touch a woman even if she is in a bikini on the beach. This statement of Dr. Naik exposes the hypocrisy, double standards and status of women in Islamic countries. If you go by the way women are treated in Islamic societies, women there should be wearing the hijab to protect themselves from fellow Muslims!

Dr. Naik – The west talks of women’s liberation when in fact it exploits them. You find pictures of scantily dressed girls in ads to sell everything including cars.

Reply – True, but that in itself is a testimony to gender equality in the west. Nobody forces a girl to model and nobody has the right to object either. It is entirely up to the individual.

Dr. Naik – the western media exaggerates news of a 60 year old Arab marrying a 16 year old girl but plays it down when a 60 year old man in America rapes a 10 year old girl.

Reply – What exactly are you trying to compare here Dr. Naik? Rape is a crime and rape of a minor is a crime that is unpardonable and unacceptable in any civilized society. It is punishable under the law. But marriages like the one mentioned by our “scholar” is nothing but legally sanctioned rape of a minor. And this type of rape has the blessings of the Sharia in all Islamic countries. Let us also not forget that victims of this kind of rape are girls from poor families that are sexually exploited by rich Muslims in the garb of marriage and “helping” the family. I suppose Dr. Naik would call this Zakaat!

Dr. Naik – People in the west eat pork and hence behave like pigs. Pigs are the only animals in the world that invite their friends to have sex with their partners. Westerners also do the same.

Reply – If eating pork makes you behave like a pig, Dr. Zakir Naik has just dropped a bombshell on the Islamic world by indirectly suggesting that prophet Muhammad was also a pork eater. In fact if Muhammad was born in America in this day and age, he would have been a successful pimp in Las Vegas . Dr. Naik should know that barring a few species that mate for life all animals are promiscuous for the simple reason that their sole purpose is to procreate and not propagate Islam. And to think that this man claims the Koran to be scientific!

Dr. Naik – “I have given lectures in many parts of the world. Many big people come to hear me. Wherever I go, presidents, prime ministers want to meet me. They all tell me you are so knowledgeable and told us so many things that we didn’t know before. We wish you would come more often”

Reply – When he said – presidents and prime ministers – did he mean the president of Iraq ? Prime minister of Malaysia ? Sultan of Brunei ? Are there non Muslim nations also on that list? Whatever that is, this only proves that Dr. Naik is an attention seeker and the above statement is anything but scholarly. I have a feeling that this man has had a troubled childhood. He used to stammer and it is very possible that his peers in school and college poked fun at him. Girls would have avoided him altogether. Deprived of a regular social life, he may have become a bookworm which explains his ability to memorize verses from the Koran and other religious texts. It is a well known fact that people who are scorned by society find a way of hitting back with a vengeance and Dr. Naik has found a convenient tool in Islam. Add to it his failed medical practice and the reasons for his hatred towards society are not too hard to find.

Dr. Naik – Muslims should not work in banks as giving/ accepting interest is haraam in Islam.

Reply – How would you define interest? Isn’t a Muslim shopkeeper also earning interest on his investment? Is it haraam if banks do the same? Do gulf nations sell oil on a no profit basis? Don’t they earn interest on their investment? This is just one of the many absurdities in the Koran. Muhammad made taking of interest haraam to get rid of his debtors and Muslims blindly follow the same.

Dr. Naik – Muslims should not work in alcohol bars and airlines because they serve liquor.

Reply – With the high rate of illiteracy among Muslims, thanks to their madarassas, do they really have a choice when it comes to jobs? As far as airlines are concerned, I agree. Muslims cannot work in airlines, they are only allowed to hijack and bomb aircrafts!

Dr. Naik – Muslim girls can become gynecologists so that they will deal only with women but they should not take up other specialties as that will bring them into contact with men.

Reply – This is shocking coming from someone who claims to be a medical doctor himself. Does he think lady doctors have sex with patients in their consultation chambers? How much absurdity can these stupid, dumb Muslims really digest before they actually hit the loo?

Dr. Naik – Muslim girls can work provided they don’t mix with boys. There has to be a separate area for them. They can talk to men only if it’s official and necessary.

Reply – I can understand a highly qualified and proven individual making such demands from his employer but coming from illiterate Muslims, isn’t this worth a laugh? It’s like a driver in Florida asking his boss for an apartment on south beach with a car and an annual vacation in Switzerland as perks!!!

Dr. Naik – The education system in India should be changed. Many girls lose their virginity by the time they leave school.

Reply – This statement takes the cake. It’s a well known fact that school girls in Muslim countries are not safe and governments keep changing school uniforms to cover little girls to the extent that they don’t look like kids anymore but more like emperor penguins in the Antarctic. And all this to protect the little children from Muslim pedophiles who love kids as much as their holy prophet did. As far as the education system is concerned, Indian schools follow the British system and is rated as among the best in the world. Indian schools teach the basic tenets of all religions, unlike schools in the middle east and other Muslim countries where pages from text books that refer to other religions are torn off by the government. What impression would that create on the mind of a child? Dr. Zakir Naik has been educated in Christian and Hindu institutions in India . By attacking these religions now, he is simply doing what all Muslims do best – spit into the very hand that has fed you. It’s hardly surprising that Hindus in India do not trust Muslims at all and they never will.

After reading this I could forgive you for thinking that Dr. Zakir Naik may have been circumcised between the ears instead of the thighs. Muslims are the only community that can be taken for a ride by such psychopaths. There are a lot more absurdities that this man preaches like halal entertainment (Islamic cartoons and movies), Sharia etc but it is my belief that the above examples would be sufficient to discount the man and throw him into the nearest thrash bin.
