Bible should be banned, demand Muslim clerics in Pakistan

Bible should be banned, demanded JUI leaders
May 31 2011

Ban on the holy book of Christians has been demanded by a group of Muslim clerics. They have blamed that several stories inserted into Bible, charge various prophets of various moral crimes which compromise the sanctity of the holy prophets.

While addressing to a Press Conference in Masjid-e- Khizra , Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Samiul Haq) leader Maulana Abdul Rauf Farooqi and others pleaded the Supreme Court of Pakistan to take suo motu notice of the “blasphemous” materials added to the Bible. “Otherwise we will be compelled to move the court to ban the book completely, on which a panel of lawyers is already working”, they added.

Farooqi said, he and his colleagues want to reply the blasphemers in an equally insulting attack, but Islam does not allow repeating such heinous activities. “We will not follow the footsteps of Terry Jones and will not burn the holy book”, he said. Adding to it, he said some other punishment-mode would be devised soon to prevent such incidents from happening again in the future.

Farooqi cited a number of scriptures from the Bible, saying such “insertions” strongly offend the Muslims, who hold all prophets and holy books in high esteem, as part of religious belief and never even think of committing any blasphemy against them, as reported by The News.

On the other hand various Muslim Scholars have rejected the idea of banning the holy book of Christians. They warned that it will only end up in the clash between two religions. The enemies of Islam would get a chance to defame Islam even more, if the idea of banning Bible is put into practice, they said.

Mufti Mohammad Khan Qadri, central leader of Tahaffuz Namoos Risalat Mahaz (TNRM), said, “There is no doubt that Bible suffered numerous tampering which their scholars also admit but inviting an open clash with Christianity is not in the interest of Islam, particularly at this crucial juncture”

A noted Shia scholar Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi opined that only preaching of Islam can help solving such issues with peace.

Qadri invited all the religious scholars belonging from different schools of thoughts to sit together and find a better way for dealing blasphemy issues in order to stay away from any resulting communal clash.

Head of Ruet e hilal committee Mufti Munib ur Rehman could not be contacted even after several tries. Whereas Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawwar Hasan refrained from giving any comment without first reading the text of the press conference or the published news item.

UK Muslim population increases 10 times faster in just four years

Posted by jagoindia on February 2, 2009

One implication should be that jihadi population should have also increased 10 times. Serves them right. After all the UK supported the Islamifascists over Kashmir. We now look forward to a Muslimistan in UK.

Muslim population multiplied 10 times faster in UK
Feb 01, 2009

London Immigration, higher birthrates and conversions to Islam are considered as major factors behind rise of the Muslim population in UK by more than 5 lakhs to 2.4 million in just four years.

Experts have also suggested a growing willingness among believers to describe themselves as Muslims because the western reaction to war and terrorism had strengthened their sense of identity.

The Muslim population multiplied 10 times faster than the rest of society, the research by the Office for National Statistics done during the period of 2004-2008 reveals. In the same period the number of Christians in the country fell by more than 2 million.

“The implications are very substantial. Some of the Muslim population, by no means all of them, are the least socially and economically integrated of any in the UK… and the one most associated with political dissatisfaction,” David Coleman, Professor of Demography at Oxford University was quoted as saying by ‘The Times’.

“You can’t assume that just because the numbers are increasing that all will increase, but it will be one of several reasonable suppositions that might arise.”

There are more than 42.6 million Christians in Britain, according to the Office for National Statistics, whose figures were obtained through the quarterly Labour Force Survey of around 53,000 homes.

Muhammad Abdul Bari, general secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain said that the greater platform that Muslims would command in the future should not be perceived as a threat to the rest of society.

Saudi school teaches Jews are monkeys and Christians are pigs

Posted by jagoindia on January 9, 2009

School’s books are racist, says sacked teacher Clare Dyer, legal editor
The Guardian, Tuesday 6 February 2007

A Saudi-run school in London uses textbooks which describe Jews as monkeys and Christians as pigs, according to papers filed with an employment tribunal by a former teacher.

Teaching materials used at the King Fahd school in Acton, west London, translated from Arabic for an unfair dismissal claim against the school, say Jews “engage in witchcraft and sorcery and obey Satan”, and invite pupils to “name some repugnant characteristics of Jews” and to give examples of worthless religions, such as Judaism and Christianity.

Colin Cook, 57, a British convert to Islam who taught English at the school for 19 years until he was dismissed last December, said pupils had been heard saying they wanted to kill Americans, that 9/11 was good, and that Osama bin Laden was a hero. He is claiming £100,000 compensation for unfair dismissal, race discrimination and victimisation.

The school was originally set up to educate the children of Arab diplomats, but most of its 750 pupils are now British Muslims. It teaches Wahhabism, the dominant faith in Saudi Arabia, which is an extreme form of Islam that insists on a literal interpretation of the Qur’an.

Mr Cook’s solicitor, Lawrence Davies, said he was taking the “extraordinary step” of issuing a statement because British pupils were being put at risk. “We are concerned at the fact that these racist textbooks are being taught in a Saudi-funded school to British pupils and to date no school inspection by Ofsted has identified this appalling practice.”

The teacher, who earned £35,000 a year, says he blew the whistle to Edexcel, the examinations body, after children were allowed to refer to their annotated texts in an English language exam in breach of the rules. The school denies his allegations and claims he was rightly dismissed for misconduct. His tribunal hearing is expected to be held later this year.

In Florida, Hindu, Jewish and Christian groups unite against Islamic terrorist attacks in Mumbai

Posted by jagoindia on January 7, 2009

Dec 16, 2008 – Hundreds in South Florida participated in a Peace Rally and candlelight vigil last evening to show solidarity with the victims of Jihadi terrorist attacks in Mumbai India. The rally was attended by a cross section of people from Jewish, Hindu, Christian, Buddhists, Jain and Sikh communities. The peace rally started at about 4PM at Las Olas Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale and the mourners marched towards Beach Place shouting slogans against Jihadhists. Shanti (Peace) Mantras and Har Har Mahadev, slogans were chanted during the procession.

“It is an ideology of hatred and violence, a method of committing the most heinous acts known to man, all in the name of a religion, all in the name of Islam. Mumbai wasn’t just about Pakistanis seeking retribution against India’s Hindus, because if that were the case they wouldn’t have targeted and tortured and murdered Jews. So let us call Mumbai what it is, Islamic terrorism — Islamic terrorism.” said Joe Kaufmann the chairman of ‘Americans against Hate’ with a loud applause from the attendees.

Pakistan and the Persecution of Ahmadiyya Muslims and Christians

Posted by jagoindia on December 29, 2008

Letters from Tokyo
Pakistan and the Persecution of Ahmadiyya Muslims and Christians
By Lee Jay Walker
Tokyo Correspondent

Dr. Abdul Mannan Siddiqui is seen at Jalsa Salana Qadian 2005. the regional president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Pakistan was killed on Sept. 12, 2008 at around 2.30pm Pakistani time. Dr. Siddiqi was both a most eminent member of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and also a renowned physician.

In the land of Pakistan hatred continues to grow in many parts of this nation. This hatred, inspired and ignited by Sunni Islamic extremists, is directed against all moderates and all faiths. To make matters worse the institutions inside Pakistan, notably the government, judiciary, and police, is also part of the problem and internal security services are divided. Therefore, Pakistan is either unwilling or unable to stop the flow of radical Sunni Islam and nations like Afghanistan and India are bearing the brunt of this failed nation state. Also, the internal situation in Pakistan is out of control in parts of this nation. So how can this nation be trusted when so many failures are taking place?

After all, within Pakistan you have many minorities who reside in fear because of the ongoing violence directed against them. This applies to radical Sunni Islamic extremists who are killing and persecuting Ahmadiyya Muslims, Shia Muslims, Christians, and other minorities. Even moderates within the Sunni Muslim community face persecution because the madness of radical Sunni Islam appears to be out of control. If this hatred is not challenged, then Pakistan faces a bleak future and regional nations will suffer via terrorism, indoctrination, and agitation.

If we focus on Ahmadiyya Muslims, then it is clear that these Muslims only want liberty, freedom, and the right to live in peace. However, even Ahmadi doctors face persecution despite these doctors loving humanity. After all, Ahmadi doctors merely want to help all people, irrespective if Sunni Muslim, Christian, Shia Muslim, or a member of another faith or a person of no faith. Yet to extremists, mainly in the Sunni Islamic camp, they are deemed to be “infidels” and worthy of killing.

This is clearly happening because since 1982 you have had 15 brutal murders of Ahmadi doctors in Pakistan. The most recent murder happened on September 8, 2008, when Dr Abdul Mannan Siddiqi was killed. Therefore, a man of peace and a highly respected individual who helped the poor and all people who needed help, was killed in the name of radical Islam. This hatred is sadly growing and all minorities reside in fear and more alarmingly, to the haters of humanity, their list of so-called infidels appears to be growing.

Abid Khan, a representative of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community, stated that “The murder of Dr Abdul Mannan Siddiqi is a grave tragedy. He was a true servant of mankind and lived his life according to the Ahmadiyya motto, ‘Love for All, Hatred for None.’ His death was simply due to his being a peace loving member of the Ahmadiyya Community.” Yet this man of humanity was deemed to be an infidel and “the forces of evil,” the very same forces of evil who massacred hundreds in Mumbai, India, in 2008; appear to be growing in power and influence in Pakistan.

Also, it is not only radical Islamists that minorities fear, but the Pakistan government itself and the judicial system which is openly biased. This applies to the blasphemy law, and other laws which infringe on the rights of equality. Yet of major concern is the blasphemy law because all non-Sunni Muslim minorities fear this law and the same applies to liberal Sunni Muslims who face the same consequences. For blasphemy in Pakistan is punishable by death and Sunni Muslims can use this law in order to persecute minorities and liberals within the Sunni community.

Overall, in modern day Pakistan you have frequent cases of Sunni Muslims raping Christian women and then converting these Christian women to Islam. For Christian parents, it is one long nightmare because regional police forces and the judiciary are obviously biased. All too often these Christian girls are denied equal rights and the courts deem their conversion to Islam to be final, despite the seriousness of their respective ordeals. Therefore, rape and liberty is “thrown out of the window” and instead Islamization is the winner.

I remember writing about the same issue many years ago after the brutal death of a brave Muslim cleric called Mohammed Yousaf Ali. For in 2002 this brave Muslim cleric spoke out against discrimination and he condemned religious Islamic extremism. This brave cleric called Mohammed Yousaf Ali was therefore a threat to Islamic militants, for he happened to care for people from all faiths and in the eyes of Islamic extremists he was no longer a Muslim. Therefore, Mohammed Yousaf Ali made many enemies and for this he was murdered.

To make matters worse, this brave Muslim cleric was not only killed by an Islamic zealot, but he was also condemned by the judiciary of Pakistan and, more worryingly, by the government of Pakistan which allows people to be put in prison on the grounds of blasphemy. This means that Mohammed Yousaf Ali was murdered collectively by the judiciary who put him in prison, by the Islamic zealot who killed him, and by the government of Pakistan which allows blasphemy to be a criminal offence.

The gunman who murdered Mohammed Yousaf Ali showed no remorse, on the contrary, he believed that this was legal and part and parcel of the teachings of Islam. For the alleged killer, Tariq Mota, stated that “I now feel spiritually satisfied. It is the responsibility of every Muslim to kill these infidels.” Therefore, this hatred is not only deep but it is based on the Hadiths and Islamic Sharia Law which clearly supports the theory of killing apostates. This fact can be seen clearly in Saudi Arabia where leaving Islam equals the death penalty. So this issue is not just about Islamic extremists, but it is about aspects of Islam itself.

Yet six years later, moving from 2002 to 2008, and we still see the same hatred. Therefore, Pakistan must be sternly rebuked and the international community needs to wake-up! Also, militancy within this nation is being exported to Afghanistan and India, and much further. After all, the terrorist attack in London was done via the behest of radical Sunni Muslims within the Pakistani community in the United Kingdom.

Therefore, how much longer do Ahmadiyya Muslims have to wait before they have equality? Also, why should Christians, women, Shia Muslims, liberal Sunni Muslims, Hindus, and others, reside in fear? Surely this nation needs to be challenged verbally and these crimes should not be hidden from readers. Instead people like Mohammed Yousaf Ali should be remembered for speaking out against hatred, if not, the only winners in modern day Pakistan will be Islamic zealots and criminals who are abusing women. Surely this situation needs to be changed and quickly, but does the international community care?

Intolerance in inherent to monotheist religions, polytheism is naturally tolerant

Posted by jagoindia on December 19, 2008

Schopenhauer writes:

Indeed, intolerance is essential only to monotheism; an only God is by nature a jealous God who will not allow another to live. On the other hand, polytheistic gods are naturally tolerant; they live and let live. In the first place, they gladly tolerate their colleagues, the gods of the same religion, and this tolerance is afterwards extended even to foreign gods who are, accordingly, hospitably received and later admitted, in some cases, even to an equality of rights…. Thus it is only the monotheistic religions that furnish us with the spectacle of religious wars, religious persecutions, courts for trying heretics, and also with that of iconoclasm, the destruction of the images of foreign gods, the demolition of Indian temples and Egyptian colossi that had looked at the sun for three thousand years; all just because their jealous God had said “Thou shalt make no graven image,” and so on.”(3)

UK Muslim preacher Anjem Choudary brands Christmas as evil, pathway to hellfire

Posted by jagoindia on December 13, 2008

Muslim lawyer Anjem Choudary brands Christmas ‘evil’
Muslim preacher Anjem Choudary has branded Christmas “evil” in a sermon posted on the internet.

By Murray Wardrop, 10 Dec 2008, http://www.telegraph.co.uk

The lawyer, who recently praised the Mumbai terror attacks, urged all Muslims to reject traditional Christmas celebrations, claiming that they are forbidden by Allah.

The 41-year-old shocked Christians and even those of his own faith by branding yuletide festivities as “the pathway to hellfire”.

Choudary, who is chairman of the Society of Muslim Lawyers, ruled out all celebrations, including having a Christmas tree, decorating the house or eating turkey.

In the sermon posted on an Islamic website, he said: “In the world today many Muslims, especially those residing in western countries, are exposed to the evil celebration Christmas.

“Many take part in the festival celebrations by having Christmas turkey dinners.

“Decorating the house, purchasing Christmas trees or having Christmas turkey meals are completely prohibited by Allah.

“Many still practise this corrupt celebration as a remembrance of the birth of Jesus.

“How can a Muslim possibly approve or participate in such a practice that bases itself on the notion Allah has an offspring?

“The very concept of Christmas contradicts and conflicts with the foundation of Islam.
“Every Muslim has a responsibility to protect his family from the misguidance of Christmas, because its observance will lead to hellfire. Protect your Paradise from being taken away – protect yourself and your family from Christmas.”

Choudary is Principal Lecturer at the London School of Shari’ah and a follower of the Islamist militant leader Omar Bakri Mohammed.

Earlier this year, he led a meeting at the heart of the area where the liquid bombers lived, which warned of a British September 11.

Police get Muslims, Christians to join Vinayaka Procession in Chennai

Posted by jagoindia on September 17, 2008

Police get Muslims, Christians to join festivities in north Chennai
8 Sep 2008, 0627 hrs IST, A Selvaraj,TNN

CHENNAI: As part of the initiative taken by the police , leaders of the Muslim and Christian communities joined the Vinayaka procession in a northern suburb, setting an example that could go a long way in ensuring that the event remains free of communal tension in the city.

In Mathur-MMDA near Madhavaram, a group of Muslim residents and Christians welcomed and cheered processionists carrying the Vinayaka idol for immersion. As a mark of harmony, the religious heads exchanged shawls.

Local residents, traders associations and various political party cadres, irrespective of their ideology, had installed a 5 ft high Sarva Sakthi Vinayaka idol on the Second Main Road in Mathur on Vinayaka Chathurthi day on Wednesday. The Mathur-MMDA panchayat president K Ezhumalai (DMK), Devaraj (joint secretary of AIADMK youth wing), Senthilkumar, Rosaiah Naidu (Congress) and several other local political leaders had organised the idol installation.

On Sunday morning, when the idol was taken in procession, it was stopped near the Al-Masjida Jummah Mosque and welcomed by Muslims, including several women in burkhas. Led by the head of the mosque, Umar Hathab, they wished the processionists. Hathab and Ezhumalai also exchanged shawls.

“We have gathered here to show our friendship with other communities, to respect their religion and customs,” Ismail, a committee member of the mosque told, TOI. As a reciprocal gesture, Ezhumalai announced a grand feast for Muslims in the area on September 27, as part of Eid celebrations.

Later, the idol was proceeded to the First Main Road, where Christians had gathered to welcome Lord Vinayaka in front of the Evangelical Church of India. Led by the Rev. Williams Vallavattol, they welcomed the Vinayaka Chathurthi committee members and exchanged shawls as a mark of friendship.
“We had approached all religious leaders in Mathur-MMDA to take this new step towards communal harmony. I am glad they all agreed. Earlier I had organised a similar programme in Kayalpatnam in Tuticorin and it was highly successful,” S R Jangid, suburban city police commissioner, told The Times Of India.

Everything You Need To Know About Islam

Posted by jagoindia on September 15, 2008

We need a Hindu version of the said video

Everything You Need To Know About Islam
Anna Blaise
Issue date: 10/10/06 Section: Focus

“Is Islam itself violent?” This is the question asked and answered in the documentary film called “Islam: What the West Needs to Know.” The experts featured in this film are convincing, persuasive and say that Islam should be taken very seriously by Westerners.

“The question is: Do we want to prevent our Christian and Judo values or do we want to let Islam take over our civilization and Islamized Europe?” said Bat Ye´Or, author of Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis.

This documentary features commentary from scholars Robert Spencer, Serge Trifkovic, Bat Ye´Or, Abdullah Al-Araby, and former Palestinian Liberation Organisation terrorist Wallid Shoebat. Spencer is the author of “Islam Unveiled” and has been studying Islam for over two decades. Trifkovic has a Ph.D. from the University of Southampton and is the editor of “Chronicles: A magazine of American Culture.” Bat Ye´Or is considered one of the world´s leading scholars on the history of Islamic Civilization. Al-Araby is the author of “The Islamation of America” and Shoebat is a former terrorist and author of “Why I Left Jihad.”

The documentary starts by featuring world leaders such as Tony Blair, President George W. Bush and Bill Clinton repeating how Islam is a peaceful religion and “the people who act violently in the name of Allah blaspheme the name of Allah.”

Trifkovik’s response to this claim is that those world leaders do not know the real extent of Islam and its foundations. According to the “Interpretation of the Meanings of the Noble Quran” by Dr. Muhammad Tagi-un Din Al-Hlali presented in the documentary, Islamic followers should kill people who aren’t believers. It is said to find them wherever they are and kill them.

Spencer points out that the prophet Muhammad, who has been contacted by Allah, the only God according to the Quran, killed 600 to 700 Jews in Arabia. If the prophet can do it, then Muslims can do it to, according to Spencer. Those “fanatics,” as the world leaders say when they talked about terrorist, are only following the Islamic fundamentals, Spencer says.

“Islam is a religion of a belief system that mandates warfare against non-believers for the purpose of establishing a societal model,” Spencer says. “It is absolutely incompatible with Western society.”

The second part of the documentary is called “The Struggle,” where the former terrorist Shoebat describes the meaning of “Jihad.” As a young man, Shoebat was chosen to become a terrorist. He describes his first experience in the documentary and how it made him feel knowing he had killed innocent children. Shoebat then explains what it means to be a terrorist. Many teenagers sign up to become a suicide bomber because according to the Quran, the people who die for Islam will not be unrewarded; they will be go to heaven, said Shoebat. He also mentions the only people who are promised heaven in the Quran are people who die for Islam, therefore a lot of people, children and teenagers alike, sign up to become suicide bombers because they know when they die they will go to heaven, according to Shoebat.

In the third part of the documentary, the scholars present a series of historical events of enslavement, and massacres of Christians and Jews by Muslims for the expansion of Islam.

“War is deceit,” is the name of the fourth part of the documentary. In this section, the scholars discuss the foundation of the speculation that Islam is a peaceful religion. According to them, Edward Sahid, a university professor wrote “Orientalism” in which he insists Islam is a peaceful religion and that is not the truth.

“Islam is peaceful now because Muslims are waiting to have more immigrants in America and Europe, and when they do then watch out,” said Shoebat.

The fifth section of the movie describes Islam as more than a religion. It has a political character, a way to live, to dress, all according to Trifkovik. According to Shoebat, the first mistake that Westerners make when they look at Islam is to think it is an individual and personal belief. Shoebat said it is the contrary; Islam is not an individual faith. It is everything and every aspect of one’s life. He also mentions that Muslims and non-Muslims state are forbidden to live as equal.

In the documentary, Muslims in New York city in 2002 included people of all colors and they were all shouting “Jihad.” Signs were posted that “Allah is the only God,” and that “Islam will dominate the world.” Similar signs were found in a protest for Islam in London in 2005.

“Lebanon used to be a Christian nation, now it’s been Islamized,” said Ye’Or. “Islam is moving.”

Section six of the documentary shows that Muslims are trying to Islamize the world. Spencer advises Westerners to take Islam seriously because it is a political character, and a religion that believes that non-believers of Islam should be killed.

“We need to know so we can protect ourselves,” Spencer said. “But unfortunately because of media and government unwillingness, these things remain unknown.”

This documentary will be available nationwide on Oct. 17.

It was directed and produced by Gregory M. Davis and Bryan Daly. It is chilling, scary, persuasive and worth watching.
