Soft jihadi, Omar Khalidi’s Biased MIT Conference April 2010

Posted by jagoindia on April 10, 2010

The conference is this weekend at MIT is Organized by Omar Khalidi who is staff at MIT. Information about Omar Khalidi can be found in the book ‘Defeating Political Islam’ by Moorthy Muthuswamy that received good reviews from Washington Review. ( In that book the author wrote about 2 pages on Omar Khalidi). The conference is selective in its speakers and topics to paint a given picture.

Mr. Omar Khalidi advocates different laws for Muslims such as Polygamy etc, different constituencies for Muslims to elect Muslim lawmakers, would have issues with Christian nature of USA and is known even by Muslims as someone who selects his data to paint a picture that suits Islamic agenda. Some people are of opinion he is what you call ’soft’ jihadi.

In addition, one of the speakers Mr. Mukul Sinha has apparently written with a welcoming tone on terror attack on World Trade Center. Other speaker Anjana Chatterjee said sending money to help families of firefighters at World Trade Center attack was anti-Muslim.

Such speakers may not be Jihadi’s but they are “Jihadi enablers” by espousing the causes of Jihadis through selective use of data, lies and deception that provides fodder for jihadi recruitment and their acts. Today there are talking about countries outside USA (in this case India), but when the forces are stronger, they will turn against US from within.

Saddam a comrade in Kerala

Posted by jagoindia on March 27, 2009

Saddam a comrade in Kerala

11 Mar 2009, 0126 hrs IST, Amita Shah, ET Bureau

NEW DELHI: Among whatever is left of the pan-Arab Left, ageing comrades remember Saddam Hussein as the despot who single-handedly decimated the  communist movement in Iraq. However, back in Kerala, a state which lives on the remittances sent back by its million-plus emigres in the Gulf countries, local communists hail Saddam Hussein as the Arab Saladdin who held out against American imperialism.

For a decade now, the Kerala Left led by the CPM — with its core base coming mostly from lower-caste Hindus — has been trying to make inroads into the Muslim-majority district of Malappuram and neighbouring Kozhikode.

At the heart of a heated debate within the Left is the Ponnani Lok Sabha constituency where Muslims make up 25% of the population, a traditional bastion of Congress ally, the Indian Union Muslim League. Emboldened by the sweeping gains that the Left made in the two northern districts in the last assembly elections, the junior partner in the Left Front, CPI, has been nurturing hopes of wringing the seat. However, the CPM, which has been cosying up to the firebrand People’s Democratic Front (PDP) leader Abdul Nasser Madani — acquitted in the Coimbatore blast case after several years in jail — wants to field an indpendent from the seat who is agreeable to the PDP.

The CPI, which is trying desperately to hold on to the seat to ensure that its vote share does not drop further, is averse to the PDP calling the shots. Mr Madani still faces around 20 cases in Kerala, which includes spreading communal hatred. The war-of-words that ensued culminated in a slanging match between the all-powerful CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan and CPI state chief Veliyam Bhargavan, as widely reported in Malayalam media.

Up north, the CPM has also decided to put up its candidate in the communally-sensitive Azamgarh seat hoping to capitalise on the electorate’s perceived disillusionment with the ruling parties at the Centre and the state. In the aftermath of the Mumbai terror attack, protestors from Azamgarh shouted slogans “Azamgarh Zindabad!” and “Ulema Council Zindabad” in the heart of the Capital.

Protesting police “harassment” of Muslims, they said “we are students, not terrorists”. The Ulema Council is also likely to field a candidate in the constituency, which is seen as a terror hub after the Batla House encounter.

In Assam, where illegal immigrants from Bangladesh have a say in several seats, the CPM was trying to tie up with the Assam United Democratic Front (AUDF), which had won ten assembly seats. The party is eyeing seats in the Lok Sabha by wooing over the Muslim voters. It’s another matter that the CPM walked out of the alliance following deadlock in seat-sharing arrangement in the state. However, the CPI is still part of the NCP-AUDF-Left front in the state.

CPM’s political organisational report finalised at the recent Coimbatore Congress said more efforts needed to be made to recruit Muslims, following a drop in Muslim membership over the past seven years. While in Kerala the LDF has managed to win over a section of the American-wary Muslims by striking the right chords, in West Bengal the steady drop in the Muslim membership have given cause for concern at Alimuddin Street.

The Left had the backing of around half-a-dozen Muslim groups in Kerala, as was evident from the assembly elections of 2006. The LDF got a taste of the Muslim backing when it stole a large share of the minority vote from the Congress which had fallen from grace in the eyes of the Islamists because of the Indo-US nuclear deal. The CPM’s central leadership explained its affiliation with the minority groups by saying there was a difference between accepting support and forming an alliance with a religion-based party.

In West Bengal, where it sensed that the Muslim votebank was slipping, the CPM tried to make amends—the Taslima Nasreen episode was a clear indication.

But it was too late. The CPM felt the pain of the Muslim backlash in the panchayat polls. The Muslims had started to distance themselves disillusioned with the Left Front in the wake of the Sachar Committee report. Chief minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya’s utterances about clearing Madrassas did further harm. What made matters worse was the state government’s land acquisition in Singur and Nandigram, in which the community was affected severely. The Muslim population is over 50% in some districts of the state, including Murshidabad and Kishanganj.

Left moots pension for Madrassa teachers to please Muslims

Left moots pension for Madrassa teachers to please Muslims

Pioneer News Service | Kozhikode

The CPI(M)-led LDF Government in Kerala are planning some quick pre-poll measures to regain the trust of the minorities, especially Muslims, which has been affected of late by moves like the one by the Law Reforms Commission which has suggested strict controls on polygamy.

Local Administration Minister Paloli Muhammad Kutty, who had headed a panel for studying the possibilities of implementing the Sachar Committee recommendations in Kerala, announced on Saturday that the Government wanted to implement a programme for providing a handsome pension to those who retired as full-time Madrassa teachers.

At a function organized here to announce the formation of a welfare fund for the Madrassa teachers, Paloli said the plan was to give a sum of at least Rs 4,000 a month as pension to those who had completed at least ten years’ service as full-time Madrassa teachers.

He also said that the Government was also considering to institute 5,000 scholarships for students from the minority community. There was also a plan to provide Rs 1,000 towards hostel fee for minority students in the higher education sector. Centres would be started for imparting training to minority candidates for preparing for civil service examinations, he said.

The Paloli-headed committee appointed to study the ways to implement the Sachar Committee recommendations in Kerala had in February 2008 last suggested that all Muslim children below poverty line should be given all the educational concessions presently enjoyed by those in the scheduled tribes. The committee’s report had said special scholarships of up to Rs 2,000 should be given to these children on the basis of an income ceiling.

The report had also asked for a hike in the grant for children living in orphanages (Yateem Khanas) from the present Rs 175 to Rs 250 per month and for increasing this by Rs 25 every year. The LDF Government, disregarding the serious concerns and criticisms raised by leading political parties and community organizations in the State, had on April 30 last decided to implement the report of the Paloli committee. Various organizations had complained that the CPI(M) effort to implement the report was part of its efforts to win the Muslim vote-bank even by jeopardizing the religious harmony in the State.

The report had recommended creation of a Muslim Development Corporation, establishment of an Arabic university and more government schools in Muslim majority areas, etc. The committee also recommended constitution of minority cells in the district level. It also suggested starting of more educational institutions in the Government or aided sector in places with higher density of Muslim population.

Paloli’s new announcements have come just when several Muslim outfits, including Jama’at-e-Islami and the Sunni sect led by Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliar, have indicated that they could not support the Left in the coming elections. Jama’at-e-Islami’s Kerala Amir T Arifali had recently said that they might reconsider their association with the CPI(M)-led LDF.

Meanwhile, violence re-erupted at Veliyamkode, Ponnani in Muslim-majority Malappuram district on Saturday afternoon between activists of the CPI(M) and Popular Front, the new organization launched by Islamist outfit NDF. Tension had been prevailing between CPI(M) and Popular front in Veliyamkode, a coastal village, for the past few weeks.

The house and a car of a Popular Front activist were set afire in Saturday’s violence. The attack was suspected to be a retaliation for hacking a CPI(M) activist earlier.

Judge Islam by what its believers do and not by what academics, liberal and commentators say

Posted by jagoindia on December 30, 2008

Islam and Terrorism [Michael Rubin]

While it’s fashionable to argue that terrorists in Mumbai do not act out of religion, but are simply misguided, the fact of the matter is that they justify their actions in Islam. For the purposes of policy and security, religion should be what its practitioners believe it to be rather than what academics or outside commentators say it is. It is much more important to determine how terrorists are brainwashed in madrasas, then passing judgment on whether what they believe conforms to what academics believe Muslims should believe.

Along these lines, a few articles from the Middle East Quarterly archives looking at how radicals and terrorists justify their actions in Islam.

Left leaning prima donna Martha Naussbaum shows no sympathy for Mumbai massacre victims, goes on a Hindu fishing expedition

Posted by jagoindia on December 2, 2008

Am I blind, or did I not see even one word of sympathy or sadness by this lady for the victims of Mumbai massacre ? Is this what liberal academia in the US about. Blinkered ignorant justification for jehadi aggression?

This is how it is for these loonie lefties, the Koranic inspiration of Islamic terrorism does not matter. The absence of human rights in muslim countries does not matter. The cleansing of minorities in Muslim countries does not matter.

They dilute Islamic terror and divert us with their regular, “But it’s important to consider Indian terrorism in a broader context.” And end up blaming America, Israel, India and what have you.

We just witnessed another super moron Deepak Chopra blaming America for islamic atrocities in Mumbai. Now here is University of Chicago Law School, Prof Martha Nussbaum cruel nonsense. And this bimbo considers herself an expert on India!!!

Analysis by William Krystol

“Consider first an op-ed article in Sunday’s Los Angeles Times by Martha Nussbaum, a well-known professor of law and ethics at the University of Chicago. The article was headlined “Terrorism in India has many faces.” But one face that Nussbaum fails to mention specifically is that of Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Islamic terror group originating in Pakistan that seems to have been centrally involved in the attack on Mumbai.

This is because Nussbaum’s main concern is not explaining or curbing Islamic terror. Rather, she writes that “if, as now seems likely, last week’s terrible events in Mumbai were the work of Islamic terrorists, that’s more bad news for India’s minority Muslim population.” She deplores past acts of Hindu terror against India’s Muslims. She worries about Muslim youths being rounded up on suspicion of terrorism with little or no evidence. And she notes that this is “an analogue to the current ugly phenomenon of racial profiling in the United States.”

So jihadists kill innocents in Mumbai — and Nussbaum ends up decrying racial profiling here. Is it just that liberal academics are required to include some alleged ugly American phenomenon in everything they write?”

Here is another analysis of this bimbo’s anti Hindu outbursts. Apparently she has worked “closely” with Amartya Sen another left leaning, Indian who supresses Islamic atrocities (even though he traces his beginnings from Bangladesh)

The jihadist-multicultural alliance

Once the jig was up on their attempts to hide the identities of the perpetrators and their victims alike, the jihadists’ multicultural enablers started blaming the victims. For instance, on Sunday, The Los Angeles Times published an op-ed by University of Chicago law professor Martha Nussbaum attacking Indian Hindus. After blithely dismissing the atrocities that were still under way while she wrote as “probably funded from outside India, in connection with the ongoing conflict over Kashmir,” Nussbaum focused her ire against India’s Hindus. Recalling the gruesome and apparently state-sanctioned violence against Muslims in India’s Gujarat state in 2002, Nussbaum cast the jihadists as nothing more than victims of a Hindu terror state which has been victimizing Muslims for no reason since the 1930s.

Nussbaum’s essay was a patent example of selective multicultural memory. She apparently forgot about the Islamic conquests of India from the seventh through the 16th centuries in which India’s Buddhists were wiped out and 70 million-80 million Hindus were slaughtered by Muslim overlords. She also forgot about the thousands of Indian Hindus who have been murdered by jihadists since the 1990s.

After ignoring India’s long and recent history of jihad, Nussbaum condemned an imaginary double standard which she claimed labels all Muslims as terrorists and gives Hindus a free ride in subjugating them. Of course, thanks to multiculturalists like Nussbaum, the double standard we suffer from is the exact opposite of what she described: Muslim terrorists, we are told, are victims of persecution and represent a teensy-tiny fraction of Muslims. On the other hand, all non-Muslims involved in even marginally violent activities against Muslims are murderers, fanatics, extremists. Moreover, they are representative of their non-Muslim societies.
Cloud over India’s Muslims
The terrorist attacks in Mumbai may be indelibly linked to the country’s Muslims, despite the likelihood of outside influence.
By Martha Nussbaum
November 30, 2008

If, as now seems likely, last week’s terrible events in Mumbai were the work of Islamic terrorists, that’s more bad news for India’s minority Muslim population. Never mind that the perpetrators were probably funded from outside India, in connection with the ongoing conflict over Kashmir. The attacks will feed a powerful stereotype of the violent and untrustworthy Muslim, bent on religious conquest, who can never be a good democratic citizen. Such stereotypes already shadow the lives of Indian Muslims, who make up 13.5% of the population.

But it’s important to consider Indian terrorism in a broader context.

Terrorism in India is by no means peculiar to Muslims. A string of recent incidents has been linked to Islamic groups, most of these with foreign ties and pertaining to Kashmir. However, the most bloody recent example of terrorism in India was the slaughter of as many as 2,000 Muslim civilians by Hindu right-wing mobs in the state of Gujarat over several months in 2002.

This horrendous pogrom was portrayed at the time as retaliation for an alleged Muslim torching of a train car carrying mostly Hindu passengers. Two independent inquiries have since concluded that the fire was, instead, a tragic accident caused by passengers’ kerosene stoves.

But even if that was not known at the time, most of those killed — or raped or beaten — lived long distances from the original incident and could have had no connection to it. Moreover, there was copious evidence of pre-planning: Hindu right-wing groups had kept lists of Muslim dwellings and businesses.

Evidence that Gujarat’s state government egged-on the perpetrators was also overwhelming and led to the U.S. State Department in 2005 denying a visa to Narendra Modi, Gujarat’s chief minister. Recently, the Indian investigative journal Tehelka uncovered even more proof of government complicity in the murderous, anti-Muslim attacks. A Tehelka reporter using a hidden camera interviewed participants in the Gujarat violence, who described how bombs were manufactured in factories owned by members of the Hindu right; how arms were smuggled from other states; how the police were instructed to look the other way.

One leader of the Bajrang Dal (a paramilitary Hindu right-wing group) described his own role with pride: “There was this pregnant woman, I slit her open. …They shouldn’t even be allowed to breed. I say that even today. Whoever they are, women, children, whoever, nothing to be done with them but cut them down. Thrash them, slash them, burn the bastards. … The idea is, don’t keep them alive at all; after that, everything is ours.”

The revelation that members of the Hindu right have embraced ethno-religious cleansing should amaze nobody. Since the 1930s, their movement has insisted that India is for Hindus, and that both Muslims and Christians are foreigners who should have second-class status in the nation.

This year, in the eastern state of Orissa, members of the Bajrang Dal have murdered scores of Christians who refused to reconvert to Hinduism. (Most Indian Christians are descendants of converts, often from the lowest Hindu castes.) Peaceful villages have been reduced to ashes; a church-run orphanage was torched; dozens of churches have been destroyed; missionaries and priests have been murdered in cold blood. Thousands have been forced to flee their homes, and at least 30,000 are homeless. The rallying cry: “Kill Christians and destroy their institutions.”

In August, the Catholic bishops of India closed Catholic schools across the country “as a protest against the atrocities on the Christian community and other innocent people.” Such actions, aimed at transforming India’s pluralistic democracy into an ethnocentric regime, pose a grave threat to India’s future.

All of this is terrorism, but most of it doesn’t reach the world’s front pages. When it does make it into newspapers outside India, the word “terrorism” is rarely used. The result is a perception, in India and abroad, that Muslims are the bad guys in every incident of terrorist violence.

Such stereotypes are so prevalent that many state bar associations in India refuse to defend Muslims accused of complicity in terrorism — despite the fact that India’s constitution guarantees all accused a cost-free defense.

Meanwhile, Muslim youths are often rounded up on suspicion of terrorism with little or no evidence, an analogue to the current ugly phenomenon of racial profiling in the United States.

Some Muslims are criminals. However, this does not justify demonizing Muslims, any more than the violent acts of the Hindu right justify stereotyping all Hindus as rapists and murderers. Let’s go after criminals with determination, good evidence and fair trials, and let’s stop targeting people based on their religious affiliation.

Martha Nussbaum is a professor of law and ethics at the University of Chicago. Her books include “The Clash Within: Democracy, Religious Violence, and India’s Future” (2007) and “Liberty of Conscience: In Defense of America’s Tradition of Religious Equality” (2008).

Islamic terror attack in Mumbai: The idea is to strike into the hearts of the enemy and make them live in a state of perpetual terror

Posted by jagoindia on November 27, 2008

Rajaram: Jihad, Terrorism and Dhimmitude
In the Pakistani official manual, The Quranic Concept of War by Brigadier Malik, it is explicitly stated: “Terror struck into the hearts of the enemy is not only a means, it is the end in itself. Once a condition of terror into the opponent’s heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be achieved… Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose upon him.”

The idea is to make the enemy live in a state of perpetual terror. The authority for this is the Koran (Anfal 59-60): “Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into the enemies of Allah and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom Allah doth know.”

This is the seed of indiscriminate terror employed by Grand Masters of the Order of the Assassins centuries ago, and by Osama Bin Laden and a host of others today. This belief in the power of domination through terror, and its legitimacy, is what needs to be defeated. But first, it is necessary to recognize that this legitimacy rests on the scripture itself.

The basic truth is— terrorism runs like a thread throughout Islamic history. It is futile to try to separate Islamic terror from Islam.

JIHAD IN INDIA HISTORY
The principles of jihAd elaborated in countless compendia composed by Islamic scholars, have been generalized from concrete practices of the Prophet, and confirmed by Allah through ?revelations? in the Quran. In turn, these principles have guided all swordsmen of Islam throughout these fourteen countries and in many lands.

India has had a prolonged experience of jihAd from the day when the first Muslim army stepped into Sindh in 712 CE and won its first victories after suffering a number of defeats for 78 years. Lands in Seistan, Khurasan, Transoxiana and Afghanistan where Hindu religion and culture had flourished for long, had been subjected to jihAd in earlier years. We are citing some of the prominent jihAds waged in India by the most famous mujAhids. Rest here

To this day, militant Islam sees India as “unfinished business” and it remains high on the agenda of oil-rich Moslem countries such as Saudi Arabia rest Islam’s Other Victims: India

Muslim appeasement has crippled India

Why terrorists can relax in India

Prophet Muhammad on Holy War Against Al-Hind (India)

Andre Wink describes that this aspiration to conquer India had existed since the time of the Prophet, as is evidenced by the sacred texts:

“… in the hadith collections the prophet Muhammad himself is credited with the aspiration of conquering India. Participants in the holy war against al-Hind [the Hindus] are promised to be saved from hell-fire… Thus also an eschatological work which is called the Kitab al-Fitan (’Book of Trials’) credits Muhammad with saying that God will forgive the sins of the members of the Muslim army which will attack al-Hind, and give them victory.”11 source

In one of the Hadiths (Muslim scripture) the Prophet Muhammad is
quoted as saying “Two groups of my Ummah Allah has protected from
the hellfire: a group that will conquer India and a group that
will be with Isa ibnu Maryam (Jesus, son of Mary).” The first
attempted invasion of India by Muslims occurred in 636 CE — under
Caliph Umar, within four years of Muhammad’s death. The first 16
invasion attempts utterly failed.

Wondrous Treatment Of Kafirs In Islam

After reading the above passages you should be able to comprehend the true nature of a muslim and the reason behind the countless killings, rapes, arsons, and loots done by muslims throughout history. Now I will quote from the Quran below to support what I have stated above. The chapters and verse numbers are also stated here for refernce.

Verses from the Koran:

VIII/12: When thy Lord inspired the angels (saying:) I am with you. So make those who believe stand firm. I will throw fear into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Then smite the necks and smite of them each finger.

Here one can clearly see that the Quran is openly saying to the muslims to give a torturous death to those who are non-believers of the Islamic faith.

XCVIII/6: Lo! those who disbelieve, among the people of the Scripture and idolaters, will abide in fire of hell. They are the worst of created beings.

From the above passage you can clearly see that according to Mohammed, Allah has reserved a special place for non- mulsims–HELL!

IX/5: Then when the sacred months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and establish worship and pay the poor- due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

This verse tells us that muslims are free to convert non-muslims by force and brutality. If unsuccessful in doing so, they are free to kill.

IX/73: Oh Prophet! Strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites! Be harsh with them. Their ultimate abode is hell, a hapless journey’s end.

LXIX/30-37: (It will be said)Take him and fetter him and expose him to hell fire. And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. Lo! he used not to believe in Allah the tremendous, and urged not on the feeding of the wretched. Therefore hath he no lover hear this day nor any food save filth which none but sinners eat.

Here we get a description of how to punish Non Muslims. This is in practice even today in Islamic countries. In fact, the Sikh Gurus and their families were tortured by muslims as prescribed in the Quran. For example, Sikh guru Tegh Bahadur on refusing to accept Islam, was brought to the prison in a cage like he was a wild animal. Three of his disciples were murdered in front of him. One of them was Bhai Mati Das. He was sawed alive. The other was wrapped up in cotton and burnt alive. Bhai Dyala, the third one, was boiled alive. Guru Tegh Bahadur himself was brutally tortured and killed in a similar fashion. We see further support of these types of torments in the verses below.

XLIV/43-50: LO! the tree of Zaqqum (The tree that grows in the heart of hell bearing fruits like devil’s heads) – the food of the sinner. Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies as the seething of boiling water. (And it will be said): Take him and drag him to the midst of hell, then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. Saying: TASTE! LO! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt.

IX/123: O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you and let them find harshness in you and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

IV/144: O Ye who believe! choose not disbelievers for your friends in place of believers. Would you give Allah a clear warrant against you ?

This verse clarifies the fact that a true Muslim can never be a friend of a person of another faith. People who believe otherwise are under delusion.

IX/29: Fight those who do not profess the true faith (Islam) till they pay the jiziya (poll tax) with the hand of humility.

This verse in Quran gave birth to the law that all non muslims living in an Islamic state have to pay the jiziya or poll tax for the privilege of being there. These people are called zimmis and are allowed to live and work in the Islamic lands under the following 20 disabilities: (one has to wonder if apartheid was derived from this)

  1. They are not to build any new places of worship.
  2. They are not to repair any old places of worship which have been destroyed by the muslims.
  3. They are not to prevent muslim travellers from staying in their places of worship.
  4. They are to entertain for 3 days any Muslim who wants to stay in their homes and for a longer period if the muslim falls ill.
  5. They are not to harbor any hostility or give aid and comfort to hostile elements.
  6. They are not to prevent any one of them from getting converted to Islam.
  7. They have to show respect to every Muslim.
  8. They have to allow Muslims to participate in their private meetings.
  9. They are not to dress like muslims.
  10. They are not to name themselves with Muslim names.
  11. They are not to ride on horses with saddle and bridle.
  12. They are not to possess arms.
  13. They are not to wear signet or seals on their fingers.
  14. They are not to sell or drink liquor openly
  15. They are to wear a distinctive dress which shows their inferior status and separates them from Muslims.
  16. They are not to propagate their custom and usages among the muslims.
  17. They are not to build their houses in the neighbourhood of muslims.
  18. They are not to bring their dead near the graveyards of the muslims.
  19. They are not to observe their religious practices publicly or mourn their dead loudly.
  20. They are not to buy muslim slaves.

Here again I have stated another handful of facts which expose the true nature of Islam. Any logical person by now should have realized that Islam is meant for the lowest of the low. The followers of Islam are mindless tyrannical demons who know nothing better than killing and torturing people in the name of Allah. And they do this because a pervert named Mohammed, among other things, promised his followers 72 Houris (Beautiful Virgin Women) and virility of 100 men in ‘Jannat’ (Heaven). This is very puzzling–why virility of 100 men and only 72 houris? Why not 100 houris? The answer is very simple–the prophet Mohammed promises these “pious” muslims that they will also be given 28 young boys in addition to the 72 houris for their sexual pleasure.

Anti Hindu Marxist historians whitewash Indian history of Islamic atrocities

Censoring of Indian History

By Nithin Sridhar

THE history of India has been whitewashed and distorted, first by European rulers, and after Independence by eminent historians of India and their supporters—the leftists, seculars and self-claimed progressives of India to meet their own ends. They have painted the pre-Islamic invasion period as a Dark Age and have glorified the Islamic period to be very peaceful and prosperous.

Ram Swarup says, “Marxists have taken to rewriting Indian history on a large-scale and it has meant its systematic falsification. They have a dogmatic view of history and for them the use of any history is to prove their dogma. Their very approach is hurtful to truth. The Marxists’ contempt for India, particularly the India of religion, culture and philosophy, is deep and theoretically fortified. It exceeds the contempt ever shown by the most die-hard imperialists.”1 Some of the common claims of these so-called eminent historians are:

1] The Aryan Invasion Theory is true.2

2] Large-scale destruction of Buddhists and Jain temples was done by Hindus in pre-Islamic India.3

3] The Muslim rulers were religiously tolerant and Islamic rule was prosperous. The eminent historians deny the destruction of Hindu temples or the killing of Hindus at the hands of Muslim rulers. They also deny the religious motive behind the killing of Hindus at the hands of Muslim rulers.4

Footnotes:

1. Indian Express, January 15, 1989, quoted in book Hindu Temples: What Happened to Them, Vol.-1 by Sita Ram Goel.

2. For example, JNU historian Romila Thapar. (Article titled “Romila Thapar Defends the Aryan Invasion Theory!” by Vishal Agarwal, published at http://www.india-forum.com/articles/60/1)

3. In a letter published in The Times of India dated October 2, 1986, Romila Thapar had stated that handing over of Sri Ram’s and Sri Krishna’s birthplaces to the Hindus, and of disused mosques to the Muslims raises the question of the limits to the logic of restoration of religious sites. How far back do we go? Can we push this to the restoration of Buddhist and Jain monuments destroyed by Hindus? Or of the pre-Hindu animist shrines? (Quoted in book- Hindu Temples: What Happened to Them, Vol. 2. The Islamic Evidence by Sita Ram Goel.)

4. In his book Medival India (NCERT 2000), Satish Chandra writes, “The raid into India (by Timur) was a plundering raid and its motive was to seize the wealth accumulated by the Sultans of Delhi over the last 200 years. Timur then entered Delhi and sacked it without mercy, large number of people, both Hindus and Muslims, as well as women and children losing their lives.”, but Timur repeatedly states in his memoirs, the Tuzuk-i-Timuri, that he had a two-fold objective in invading Hindustan. “The first was to war with the infidels,” and thereby acquire, “some claim to reward in the life to come.” The second motive was “that the army of Islam might gain something by plundering the wealth and valuables of the infidels.” He further says excepting the quarter of the saiyids, the ulema and other Musulmans, the whole city was sacked.

Negationism and the Muslim Conquests

Hindu Slaughter: the account of the Islamic conquests of India

The magnitude of Muslim attrocities in India is so great that I grossly understimate their scope simply by attempting to describe them, especially within the scope of this short essay. By the sword of Islam, an entire civilization was destroyed and the number of dead easily number in the many tens of millions over several hundred years 14. The value of the booty – jewels and unbored pearls and rubies, shining like sparks or like wine congealed with ice, and emeralds like fresh sprigs of myrtle, and diamonds in size and weight like pomegranates 15 – can never be measured. According to Durant, As a result of [this] fanaticism, thousands of temples which had represented the art of India through a millennium were laid in ruins. We can never know, from looking at India today, what grandeur and beauty she once possessed. India before Islam was one of the most advanced civilizations of all time. Rest Here

Wary of Islam, China tightens rules

large signs posted by the front door list edicts that are more Communist Party decrees than Koranic doctrines.

The imam’s sermon at Friday Prayer must run no longer than a half-hour, the rules say. Prayer in public areas outside the mosque is forbidden. Residents of Khotan are not allowed to worship at mosques outside of town.

One rule on the wall says that government workers and nonreligious people may not be “forced” to attend services at the mosque — a generous wording of a law that prohibits government workers and Communist Party members from going at all.

“Of course this makes people angry,” said a teacher in the mosque courtyard, who would give only a partial name, Muhammad, for fear of government retribution. “Excitable people think the government is wrong in what it does. They say that government officials who are Muslims should also be allowed to pray.”

To be a practicing Muslim in the vast autonomous region of northwestern China called Xinjiang is to live under an intricate series of laws and regulations intended to control the spread and practice of Islam, the predominant religion among the Uighurs, a Turkic people uneasy with Chinese rule.

The edicts touch on every facet of a Muslim’s way of life. Official versions of the Koran are the only legal ones. Imams may not teach the Koran in private, and studying Arabic is allowed only at special government schools.

Two of Islam’s five pillars — the sacred fasting month of Ramadan and the pilgrimage to Mecca called the hajj — are also carefully controlled. Students and government workers are compelled to eat during Ramadan, and the passports of Uighurs have been confiscated across Xinjiang to force them to join government-run hajj tours rather than travel illegally to Mecca on their own.

Government workers are not permitted to practice Islam, which means the slightest sign of devotion, a head scarf on a woman, for example, could lead to a firing.  Read in full here

Kerala goes soft on Simi, country pays

Kerala goes soft on Simi, country pays
18 Aug, 2008, 0000 hrs IST,Bharti Jain, ET Bureau

NEW DELHI: The kerala link to the Ahmedabad blasts confirms that Gujarat has only paid for the failure, or worse, reluctance of the LDF government to act against fundamentalist elements thriving in the state.

At least two training camps were reported from the forests of Kerala, cocking a snook at the ban enforced against Simi under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 2004. The first camp for physical and mental conditioning of Simi cadres was held in 2006 in Binanipuram near Aluva in Ernakulam district, followed by another training workshop in December 2007 at Vagamon in Idukki district. After each of these camps, police cases were filed.

Following the Binanipuram training camp, the Kerala police even managed to round up 18 Simi activists on August 15, 2006. Of these, five were named in the FIR. They were Ansar Moulavi, Shaduli, Nizamuddin, Abdul Rafeeq and Shamas. The others were let off after questioning.

The investigations never went beyond these five arrests. Sometime later, even these five were released on bail after the police failed to bring charges against them for indulging in terrorist activity. Two of the released, Shaduli and Ansar Moulavi, also attended the second Simi camp at Vagamon, Idukki, in December and January 2007. The two would later be arrested by the Rajasthan police for their alleged role in the May 13 serial blasts in Jaipur.

Going by the statement of Kerala home minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, the state government was under “pressure” to set the Simi men free. “Terrorists are operating in Kerala. But their main activities are outside the state. When we took police action against some of them, there was a hue and cry from human rights activists saying that minorities were being targeted,” he told reporters in Alappuzha on Sunday.

The LDF government’s passive attitude and its failure to bring charges against the organisers of the Binanipuram camp emboldened Simi to hold another training session for around 40 cadres from UP, MP, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka and Jharkhand in December-January 2007. Activists were given commando training covering aspects like jungle warfare including the medicinal herbs and plants that must be consumed for survival, rock climbing and scaling and sliding using a rope.

The trainees were also taught how to avoid giving away too much information during police interrogation.
Shockingly enough, even the 2007 Simi training camp was reported to the Kerala police. A case was registered at the Mundakkayam police station on June 19, 2008, but no investigation was undertaken. Yet another reason why the Simi activists, following the intensive training, could easily re-assemble in states like Gujarat and Rajasthan and put their training to practice. And their lessons in how to dodge the police seemed to have worked when even the arrests of the Simi top leadership from Indore and Ujjain failed to yield intelligence on plans to target Gujarat and Jaipur.

According to Kerala forest minister Benoy Viswom, though his department had information on meetings of suspicious extremist elements in the jungles, the Centre had not passed on any information pinpointing the Simi sessions to the forest department.

The reluctance of the various governments in Kerala to act against fundamentalist elements in the state is not a new phenomenon. It be recalled that the Kerala assembly had in 2006 passed a unanimous resolution demanding the release of Coimbatore blasts accused and PDP leader Abdul Nasser Madani on “humanitarian and medical” grounds.

The leader, incarcerated in a Tamil Nadu jail since 1998, is said to have been ailing at the time. Not only this, CPM T K Hamza even called on the PDP leader in jail in March 2006, after which Madani announced his support for the LDF in the 2006 assembly elections.

The PDP chief was named as accused number 14 in the 1998 Coimbatore blasts chargesheet and charged with arranging the explosives and being part of the criminal conspiracy behind the blasts that killed 58 people. Madani was acquitted by the sessions court in 2007.

When godless Marxists and religious Islamists got together to hate America

When godless Marxists and religious Islamists got together to hate America
Tavleen Singh, Sunday, July 13, 2008, Indian Express

Of all the objections to the nuclear deal the most mystifying and intriguing is that the Prime Minister should desist from going ahead with it because it offends Indian Muslims. First information of this came from of all people a supposedly godless Communist MP by the name of M K Pandhe. Commissar Karat was quick to disown his comrade’s comment, but by then it had been picked up by other people, including the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the Indian Union Muslim League whose representative in Dr Manmohan Singh’s government is E Ahamed, Minister of State in the External Affairs ministry.

This newspaper quoted one of his party colleagues as saying, “The Muslim community is worried about the deal. The IUML would ask the Congress to consider the community’s concerns while going ahead with the deal”. If you surf the net, as I did to research Muslim sentiments on nuclear matters, you will come upon various Islamic organisations who state that they do not approve of the deal. This has nothing to do with some ancient injunction in the Quran or the hadith, thereby above the realm of debate, but to do with the more modern phenomenon of anti-Americanism.

The world’s Muslims hate America, the argument goes, because the American government has been killing Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. So, for the Indian Government to get close to America in civilian, military or strategic terms would be seen as a direct affront to Indian Muslims. The Muslim organisations who take this view appear not to have noticed that Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan are Muslim countries and all very close to the United States. How do they explain this? They do not. Just as Commissar Karat does not feel the need to explain why he hates America so much that he was ready to blow the only chance the Communists have ever had or will have to control a government in Delhi.

He and his comrades have said on more than one occasion that it’s not just the nuclear deal that is a problem for them, it is that they see it as a cover for India and the United States to come to a secret strategic alliance. So? So what? Commissar Karat’s personal hatred of the United States is so intense that during one of his angry press conferences last week he sneered at the Prime Minister for being an ‘admirer’ of America. As if the very idea was strange and incomprehensible. It is not.

If he stepped out of his politburo and wandered through the streets of Indian cities and towns the Commissar would discover that the average bourgeois Indian is a huge admirer of the United States. The old anglophile brown sahibs with their phony Oxford accents that were a leftover of the Raj have disappeared except perhaps in West Bengal. Everywhere else they have been replaced by a new generation of Indians who generally think of America as a good country. They watch American films and TV shows, eat American food, wear American clothes, go on American holidays and stay on if they can find a job. And the first chance they get they send their children to study in American universities. Oxford and Cambridge are no longer the first choice they once used to be.

Personally, I think the war on Iraq will go down as the worst strategic mistake made by an American government, but most polls in India reveal that the average Indian does not think of Iraq as a burning issue. Nor are there strong feelings about the attack on Afghanistan. Mention the Taliban, though, and you are likely to provoke a torrent of abuse. Mention anything to do with Islamism and jihadi terrorism and strong feelings surface.

Islamism is hated because it has directly affected the lives of so many ordinary Indians in the form of terrorism. Last week, days before the second anniversary of the train bombings in Mumbai, the Indian embassy in Kabul was attacked. Two months ago, nearly a hundred people lost their lives in the attack on Jaipur’s bazaars and temples. Two days after the attack, I wandered through the bazaars in which the bombs had gone off and the anger against Bangladeshis, who may or may not have been behind the bombings, was frightening.

So, if Muslim politicians and community organisations are encouraging anti-Americanism they need to be careful because they could well be laying the grounds for a dangerous divide: A divide in which the only people on the side of anti-American Muslim groups would be Marxists with an ideological hatred of America. Politics makes strange bedfellows as can be seen from the new alignments in Delhi. But godless Marxists and passionately religious Islamists? How strange can bedfellows get?

HEIL HITLER, HEIL MUHAMMAD

by Sujit Das

There are many strange similarities between Muhammad’s teachings, Hitler’s speeches and the two equally lethal doctrines, the Mein Kamph and the Qur’an. The Nazi Party was a ruthless murder machine, so is Islam.
